Job Summary
Support annual and quarterly planning processes by maintaining forecast models, managing timelines, and delivering reporting packages. Review quarterly analyses to identify risks, perform variance analysis, and enhance Yardi ABF and Power BI dashboards for financial decision-making. Recommend accounting system enhancements, drive process automation, and partner with business teams to improve intra- and inter-departmental efficiencies. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and assist with special projects as assigned. This role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the Corporate Accounting department, focusing on data quality and system administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent knowledge of accounting practices as applied to real estate development & property management, CAM/Property Tax/Chargeback billings, financial and management reporting
- Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting
- Ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis
- Ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
- Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels within and outside of the organization
