Job Summary
Forecasting Analyst role focused on developing end-to-end forecast models (including patient-based, epidemiological, and oncology pipeline forecasting) and delivering actionable insights to support WW Commercialization & Forecasting initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting statistical analyses, data mining, and predictive modelling; collaborating with Commercial Data Analyst teams and Finance; collecting real-world data from multiple sources; preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders; and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Requires 1-3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in pharmacy/technology/engineering, strong Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) skills, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint; onsite at Hyderabad, India.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar business analyst role
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmacy, technology or engineering
- Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques, predictive modelling, and forecasting methodologies
- Strong Python expertise with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
- Experience integrating Python models with visualization or reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, or internal platforms)
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; VBA and Macros preferred
- Ability to interact with senior management and communicate analytical insights effectively
