Job Summary
Analyst, Financial Reporting role focused on valuation work for M&A and financial reporting. Responsibilities include conducting research on clients, competitors, industry and capital markets; building and modifying financial valuation models for equity, enterprise and intangible assets; gathering data through client interaction; assisting in valuation of interests across multiple industries using qualitative information and proprietary quantitative models; and assisting in preparing formal client reports and presentation materials. Requirements include 0-2 years of financial analysis experience, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of valuation coursework, and Excel proficiency. Progress toward ASA, CFA, or ABV designations is a plus, with visa/work authorization in the US required. Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years’ work experience in a financial analysis role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Any coursework in valuation, financial statement analysis is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Progress towards ASA, CFA, or ABV designations is a plus
- Working/advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and handle dynamic, time-sensitive engagements in a team setting
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
