Job Summary
Validate s166 regulatory findings and support audit development for financial statements, accounting practices, operational processes, IT systems, and risk management. Conduct risk assessments to identify operational risks aligned with the Barclays Internal Audit Plan and assess internal control effectiveness against regulatory requirements. Communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior managers and directors, while identifying regulatory news and industry trends. Lead team supervision, guide professional development, and partner with other functions to embed new policies and strengthen controls. Manage risk and influence decision-making within the Financial Crime Validation Office, focusing on AML and financial crime areas across London, Glasgow, and India.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail
- Stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience within financial services
- Understanding of Financial Crime
- Understanding of Internal Audit
- Good understanding of risk and control in financial services
- Understanding of the UK Regulators and UK Financial Crime regulatory requirements
- Experience with s166 regulatory findings
- Primary focus on AML
