Job Summary
Create and maintain reports for internal teams and executives on employee data, collaborating with IT on system integration to collect and analyze information. Structure large data sets to visualize trends using graphs and infographics, while establishing KPIs to measure business decision effectiveness. Design and maintain financial models for headcount and compensation scenarios, preparing computations for variable pay like sales commissions and bonuses. Establish control procedures around HR data accuracy and participate in forecasting and budgeting processes. Work with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities and present findings through recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in accounting / finance / data science / data analytics / statistics or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Background in reporting, trend analysis, and graphs
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles in general and more specifically payroll accounting
- Good understanding of HR data structure and relevant inputs
- Proficient knowledge of PowerBI, Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
- Thorough attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Solid business skills, problem solving capabilities, and technical aptitude required
- High-energy, can-do attitude
