Job Summary
Acquire technical knowledge of fixed income products, investment portfolios, and the firm's operating model. Research, compile, and present data to improve client outcomes, trading efficiency, and sales effectiveness. Use proprietary financial models to forecast institutions' balance sheets and income statements across potential scenarios. Frame findings into coherent presentations identifying trends, action steps, and investment considerations for clients. Evaluate the viability of new product opportunities and means to deploy resources for development and launch. Develop selling, trading, and analysis skills aligned with individual talents. Work fully onsite in the Chicago office.
Required Qualifications
- Working, technical knowledge of fixed income products
- Technical knowledge of investment portfolio and balance sheet strategy
- Knowledge of technology resources
- Knowledge of the firm's operating model
- Understanding of the inter-connected, collaborative roles of sales, trading and analytics organizations
- Ability to research, compile and present data aimed at improving client outcomes, trading efficiency, sales effectiveness, and business intelligence
- Ability to use proprietary financial model to forecast institutions' balance sheet and income statement across a range of potential scenarios
- Ability to frame and integrate findings into coherent presentations, identifying trends, action steps and investment considerations for clients
- Ability to evaluate the potential viability of new product opportunities and the means to effectively deploy resources to develop and launch those initiatives
- Ability to develop selling, trading, and analysis skills appropriate to individual talents and interests
- Ability to work fully onsite (5 days in the office)
