Job Summary
Conduct analytical studies supporting electric system planning and operations, including customer load data analysis, evaluation of renewable energy impacts on the power grid, and special projects addressing emerging business needs. Submit daily meter values to the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) using meter software to track inventory and load data, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with teams across Con Edison. Collaborate with the Forecasting Services team to develop regression analysis methods that improve weather-adjusted peak forecasts, guiding long-term infrastructure planning and investment decisions. This role does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
