Job Summary
Analyst on JP Morgan’s Global Equity Research Australia Emerging Companies Team. Build and maintain operating/valuation models (3-statement, DCF, comps, probability-weighted scenarios, cohorts) and KPI trackers; produce earnings previews/reviews, initiations, and thematic notes; monitor ASX/NZX announcements, capital raises, and regulatory filings; prepare client-ready materials and support corporate access and management meetings; collaborate with sales and trading; leverage AI tools (LLMs) to accelerate document review, KPI extraction, and drafting with QA and source traceability; strong Excel and data/analytics skills, familiarity with Bloomberg/FactSet/Capital IQ, and ability to tailor messages for clients. Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/engineering or related field; CFA enrollment/progression a plus.
