Job Summary
Analyst role based in India focusing on Medtech, Life Sciences Tools, Diagnostics, and Healthcare Services research coverage. Responsibilities include researching public and private companies, tracking industry developments, developing topics for expert-led teleconferences, producing research content and summaries, managing end-to-end teleconference processes, recruiting relevant experts, and maintaining compliance. Requires an advanced STEM-related degree and 0–3 years of experience with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with research databases like CapIQ, PitchBook, Bloomberg, or AlphaSense. Hybrid work arrangement with Pune, Maharashtra, India as the office location.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in STEM, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, or related field required
- 0–3 years of experience in research, consulting, financial services, healthcare, or analytical environments preferred
- Strong interest in healthcare investing, particularly within Medtech, Life Sciences Tools, and Healthcare Services
- Commercial and analytical mindset with an interest in business models, market dynamics, and investment themes within healthcare
- Comfortable engaging with physicians, executives, operators, researchers, and other industry experts in a professional setting
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, actionable insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior industry experts and clients
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CapIQ, PitchBook, Bloomberg, or AlphaSense is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional European languages are a plus
