Job Summary
Conduct timely analysis of demand forecasts versus stone supply to highlight data and insights for internal Laurelton and polished procurement teams. Gather, analyze, and report diamond and gemstone supply information using JDE, Business Objects, DAS, APS, and Power BI. Create monthly cycle reports, quantify stone shortages, and communicate constraints to cross-functional departments including Inventory Planning and Diamond Acquisition. Translate finished goods demands into polished production and procurement forecasts while managing new product launches and grading priorities. Support inventory planning through scenario analysis and represent the team in Product Development discussions and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, business analytics, or related analytical role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable reports and dashboards
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of JDE, Business Objectives, Direct Access, Power BI
