Job Summary
Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support new and existing systems and software applications across the full software development life cycle. Conduct investigations through troubleshooting and debugging to fix bugs, perform quality and performance testing, and develop automated scripts. Provide support to developers by performing code reviews, coaching, and guiding teams while delivering reusable code and libraries. Engage with stakeholders to scope projects and track value delivered against service level agreements. React promptly to system monitoring alerts and assist in capacity planning to maintain uptime.
Required Qualifications
- Matric
- Degree in IT Computer Science, IT Programming
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in application development methodologies and practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of software testing practices
- Minimum of 6+ years of proven experience in software development, project delivery, and implementation
- Proficiency in both typed and scripting coding languages
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD standards, and agile delivery methods
- Experience in creating scalable and resilient software solutions
- Knowledge of standards and governance best practices
- Minimum of 8 or more years of software development experience
- 4+ years of software design
- 4+ years of proven working experience in software engineering and development (.NET)
- Experience working with high-volume industries
- Understanding of IT technologies and software architecture principles
- Proficiency in systems analysis and design
- Experience with Service-oriented architecture
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud solutions/technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the financial services industry systems
- Familiarity or experience with AWS
