Analyst - Derivatives

Analyst - Derivatives responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives, including collateral management and OTC margin call processing. Ensure trades processed through clearing banks are correct and reconciled to trader records; collaborate with internal departments, external counterparties and exchanges to resolve discrepancies; maintain clearing accounts daily and process expiries and trade transfers; inform Treasury of daily cash movements to clearing houses; perform derivative settlements and regulatory reporting (EMIR, MAS, Dodd-Frank, REMIT). The role sits within Trafigura’s global derivatives team, which handles swaps and futures and interfaces with front and middle office stakeholders, clearing brokers, exchanges, and IT. A degree in a numerate discipline, 1+ year derivative experience, and skills in Macros/VBA and Python are required; experience with MUREX is preferred. Meticulous, flexible, fast-learning, and capable of partnering with global stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
