Analyst, Derivatives Operations - Extended Hours

Job Summary
Monitor collateral requirements, collect intra-night margin calls, and ensure timely settlement obligations for CDCC Clearing Members. Act as the primary point of contact for client matters regarding clearing, banking, and settlements while performing daily reconciliations of collateral cash accounts. Execute end-of-day payment processing and support business operations for all products available to clearing members. Assist the Montreal Exchange with trade and position management needs and participate in operational testing exercises for business continuity and disaster recovery. Maintain strict adherence to internal controls and audit requirements while collaborating cross-functionally with IT, risk, and market operations.
Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the Securities Financial Industry
- Solid experience and knowledge in Operations processes or Securities Accounting within the Securities Financial Industry
- Solid level of technical and analytical knowledge regarding Collateral, Clearing, Banking, and Settlements processes, systems, and capabilities
- Effective listening, written, and verbal communication skills
- Solid technical and analytical skills with the ability to propose operational solutions and solve moderately complex problems specific to a project or assignment
- Solid interpersonal and organization skills with a demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and work with minimum supervision as an adaptable team player
- Oriented to deliver work with high accuracy and clear, concise details in a time-sensitive environment
- Strongly proficient with Google Suite, Excel, and other desktop applications
- Flexibility required to perform successfully in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with tight deadlines
- Must be available to work a 7.5-hour rotating shift to be performed between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. from Sunday night to Friday morning
- Must be authorized to work in the country where this position is located
