Job Summary
Analyst, Data Sourcing supports the SOR/APP declaration process for fully managed and self-managed domains, maintaining evidence of approvals in Collibra and SharePoint, and provides advisory support to domains through the declaration process. Responsibilities include analyzing data lineage to identify SORs/APPs for Critical Data Elements, collaborating with lineage analysts and stakeholders to review and finalize declarations, documenting approvals, guiding domains through self-management, addressing ad-hoc queries, engaging with Data Management Offices and System Owners to align on data sourcing requirements, presenting data sourcing guidelines, driving process optimization by leveraging existing artifacts, and supporting the Data Sourcing team with ad-hoc requests while developing expertise. Requirements emphasize experience with SOR/APP identification, data handling from multiple sources, strong communication, and familiarity with banking policies; tools include Collibra, Jira, and the Microsoft Office suite. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience identifying and managing SORs/APPs or equivalent experience with data
- Experience handling and deriving information from multiple data sources and large data sets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with business and technology staff at different levels of seniority
- Understanding of retail and commercial banking policies, processes and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio)
