Job Summary
Draft regulatory filings, communications, and deposition papers by conducting initial analysis and aligning with prior submissions to ensure legal compliance. Manage internal reporting schedules, gather departmental input, and communicate deadlines for timely regulatory submissions. Analyze legal and regulatory developments to assess business impacts and provide guidance on emerging risks. Monitor key performance metrics to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making. Translate complex data into actionable insights for cross-functional collaboration and strategic initiatives. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to maintain accountability for deliverables. Participate in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to support service recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferable in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field, from an accredited university
- 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and synthesizing complex economic, regulatory, and financial information, preferably within an electric utility or a related industry
- Associate's degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role
- Valid Driver's License
- 30% approximately travel
- Strong skills in the use of computer applications (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and programs such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization software, and SharePoint
- Ability to exercise discretion with external and internal communications
