Analyst, Credit Strategy (9-month contract)

Job Summary
Role focuses on developing, testing, and implementing quantitative investment research, data utilization, and analytical methodologies for credit strategy tools. You will contribute to research on credit versus equity relative value, translate insights into investment tools by coding research models, and collaborate with Investment partners to design data-driven analytics and visualizations. The role involves cross-functional collaboration across CPP Investments departments and requires strong programming, analytical, and financial modeling skills, with exposure to Python and other programming languages, as well as experience with cloud-based financial applications and version-control workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline
- Expert Python programming skills
- Exposure to languages such as C++, Javascript or Rust
- Working knowledge of git/GitHub
- Strong research, analytical, financial modeling and problem solving skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
