Job Summary
Credit Risk Analyst for the EMEA Diversified Industries team. You will cover a portfolio of corporate clients across sectors (e.g., Business services, Machinery & Equipment, Transportation, Auto, Airlines, Aerospace & Defence) in the EMEA region, perform credit analysis on Investment Grade and Non-Investment Grade issuers, participate in due diligence for onboarding new clients and ongoing reviews, produce credit memos with recommendations on facilities, limits, tenor, covenants, collateral and inter-creditor arrangements, and support leveraged finance and lending transactions (RCFs, term loans, bonds). You will develop knowledge of legal documentation (credit agreements, bond indentures, intercreditor agreements, security packages) and contribute to process improvements leveraging AI/LLM. The role requires strong financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling (including DCFs), understanding of macro factors, and collaboration with front-office teams across geographies including London, Frankfurt, Paris and Mumbai.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to navigate and interpret corporate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, CF)
- Familiarity with cash flow modelling and valuation methods (including DCFs)
- Broad understanding of macroeconomic and sector factors affecting corporates and leveraged finance borrowers
- Basic knowledge of lending, capital markets, and derivatives products; familiarity with leveraged finance and covenant structures
- Ability to establish credibility and trust with internal business partners and credit officers
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with decision-oriented analysis
- Expertise with MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Self-starting and capable of multitasking, with adaptability to change
- Ability to efficiently work and engage with colleagues and stakeholders across geographies, including London, Frankfurt, Paris and Mumbai
