Analyst - Credit Control I Real Estate I Finance

Job Summary
Manage the Credit Control function by overseeing customer collections, receivables, and debt recovery activities to ensure healthy cash flow and effective credit risk management. Monitor outstanding balances, drive timely collections, and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company credit policies. Assess customer financial positions to recommend collection strategies and payment plans, then prepare and analyze credit control reports to support business decision-making. Collaborate with Shared Services, Legal, and other functions to resolve complex cases and conduct customer balance reconciliations within ERP systems. This role optimizes working capital and minimizes bad debt exposure within Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate's multi-billion-dollar MENA portfolio. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in credit control and debt recovery, proficiency in SAP or Yardi, and advanced Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Accounting, with experience managing customer collections, debt recovery, and receivables within a corporate environment
- Proven experience in credit control, collections, customer account management, reconciliations, aging analysis, and reducing overdue receivables while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Yardi, with the ability to manage financial records, customer accounts, and reporting efficiently
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, large customer portfolios, and meet reporting deadlines
- Experience supporting business operations through financial analysis, customer account reviews, billing support, and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, and internal stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience managing large datasets, databases, and financial reporting
