Job Summary
The Analyst supports the Huntington Corporate Banking team with client coverage activities and develops skills in relationship management, product knowledge, target market determination, credit and return analysis, client presentation preparation and delivery, and industry research. The role collaborates with internal partners including Product Partners, Credit Underwriting, Credit Administration, and Capital Markets. It is an entry-level developmental position aimed at pursuing careers in Relationship Management, with potential paths into Portfolio Management, Credit, Capital Markets, or other Commercial roles. Responsibilities include preparing client/internal presentations and proposals, conducting industry/market research, assisting in credit underwriting and deal-portfolio analyses, and maintaining accurate client data across bank platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with attention to detail and relevant banking experience. The position is office-based with a flexible in-office/remote arrangement and requires work authorization in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 1+ years of experience in a regional or national bank analyst program, including credit training
- FINRA SIE, 79, and 63 certified or completion of these certifications within 180 days of start
- Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime)
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- In-office/work-from-home flexible arrangement described by hiring team
