Job Summary
Analyst, Corporate Actions Information responsible for the complete lifecycle, data integrity, analysis, and dissemination of mandatory corporate action data; liaises with issuers, legal counsel, and external partners to validate information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely reporting; supports non-standard entitlements, drafts depository bulletins, and assists with risk mitigation and escalation; requires 3+ years in relevant finance roles, post-secondary degree, strong Excel/Google Workspace skills, and CSC certification; bilingual (French/English) is an asset; role is hybrid in Montreal, QC.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services, capital markets, or post-trade operations
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Solid understanding of the Canadian Securities Industry, including Equities and Fixed Income
- Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
- High-Performance Execution: Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority transactions and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and accounting skills to accurately determine exceptional entitlement payments and finalize corporate action processes
- Strategic Advisory: Ability to guide legal counsel and external stakeholders through transactions that deviate from standard functionality
- Certification: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Bilingualism: Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is an asset
