Job Summary
Analyst to join Netflix’s Global Content Protection team in Los Angeles to protect local, regional, and global content from piracy. Responsibilities include monitoring release schedules, analyzing media rights, reviewing rights and licensing agreements for content protection purposes, implementing protection measures across social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), coordinating takedown requests with vendors, supporting investigations and enforcement escalations with internal security teams, and collaborating with business, legal, policy, and creative teams to improve knowledge sharing and safeguard content. Requires 5+ years in content protection, IP-law fluency, hands-on social-platform enforcement experience, data-management proficiency (e.g., Airtable), and strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Occasional nights/weekends may be required. Compensation range $160,000-$240,000 annually; comprehensive benefits and no bonuses, with salary/stock options at choice; full-time role located in Los Angeles, CA. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a global content protection program
- Solid understanding of IP law, in particular copyright, and proven experience analyzing media rights, production, and licensing agreements
- Hands-on experience using content protection tools on social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Experience handling large-scale datasets using data management and tracking tools (e.g. Airtable)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
