Job Summary

Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative research and analysis of client, industry, and market performance to synthesize results into practical strategies and action plans. Assist with the assessment and configuration of a client's target operating model, identifying synergies and key value drivers to help clients realize transaction objectives. Develop and deliver impactful client outcomes, including analyses, reports, workshops, and presentations that support key business decisions. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to shape every aspect of businesses across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and large-scale business change initiatives. This role is part of Deloitte's DT&PMI team within Strategy, Risk and Transactions, where practitioners work through all phases of the M&A lifecycle to help organizations imagine and deliver their future.

Required Qualifications

  • completing a post-secondary degree or diploma between December 2025 - December 2026 (for Winter 2027 start)
  • completing a post-secondary degree or diploma between September 2026 - September 2027 (for Fall 2027 start)
  • demonstrated initiative, creativity, and a strong passion for solving complex business challenges
  • interest in project management
  • ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • familiarity with the M&A lifecycle at an operational level and events (e.g., restructuring, business transformation, or turnaround)
  • advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project)
  • ability to contribute to the production of high-quality reports outlining key project issues, data analysis, and recommendations through effective and visual PowerPoint reports (including logical structuring and storyboarding skills)
  • ability to make detailed assessments of technology, operations, or back-office functions to identify risks, opportunities, and value creation levers
  • proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and deliver results in a client-service environment
  • legal eligibility to work in Canada
  • ability to enter the USA to work on client assignments
  • basic English language skills (for Quebec Location)
