Job Summary
Analyst position performing chemical and microbiological analyses of batches, raw materials, and finished products; document laboratory results in notebooks; assist with formulation troubleshooting; evaluate holds and in-process testing; troubleshoot analytical equipment; and ensure Good Laboratory Practices are followed. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, college chemistry/quality lab experience, ability to pass a basic skills test, strong communication, and familiarity with LEAN tools. Hybrid responsibilities not indicated; role emphasizes in-office/plant-based laboratory work with flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Must have college chemistry and/or quality laboratory experience
- Must be able to pass the Combined Basic Skills test with a minimum score of 70%
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; computer literate; LEAN manufacturing tools familiarity
- Able to read shop orders or train on shop order reading
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Should be familiar with the layout of the plant
