Job Summary
Analyst Charge-RIO (Remote) is responsible for data capture, analysis and reporting to assist Trinity Health leadership in achieving operational efficiency. The role includes auditing department information, producing reports, suggesting process improvements, and providing knowledge in programs, services, and applications. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing information, identifying opportunities, developing solutions, leading through resolution, distributing analytical reports, utilizing multiple system applications to create reports and educational materials, ensuring HIPAA/compliance standards, and supporting charge capture, verification of CPT/ICD-10 documentation, charge reconciliation, and denial-related reviews. The position requires collaboration on performance improvement activities, adherence to policies and procedures, and presenting information for decision making while maintaining data quality and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant work experience in a hospital and/or Physician Practice environment and experience in revenue cycle, billing, coding and/or patient financial services
- Charge control/capture work experience strongly preferred
- Experience with medical terminology, data entry, hospital and/or Medical Group practice operations; revenue cycle front-end functions such as patient registration; knowledge of billing and regulatory guidelines related to charging
