Job Summary
Drive NTB client acquisition for DBS SME Banking in India by prospecting, cold calling, and building partner networks; grow the liabilities portfolio through operating accounts, term deposits, and transaction banking products; manage partner relationships to generate a consistent flow of high-quality leads, articulate DBS SME Banking value propositions, tailor solutions to client needs, and ensure efficient, compliant onboarding and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SME / Business Banking Liability sales with a strong emphasis on New-to-Bank (NTB) client acquisition
- 3-5 Years of relevant experience in Current Account Acquisition
- Originate CMS/ Trade / FX transactions from SME clients
- Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in liabilities products (e.g., operating accounts, term deposits, transaction banking)
- Experience in prospecting techniques including cold calling, networking, and partner collaborations
- Strong understanding of SME banking products and services
- Ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
- Excellent communication and listening skills, good sales & negotiation skills
- Bachelors in finance/economics/commerce or MBA or CA
- Knowledge of AML/KYC requirements
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (MAS/RBI) and local laws affecting businesses in India
- Team player with relationship management skills
- Ability to deliver compliant onboarding activities
