Job Summary
Develop and enhance the data and analytics capabilities at Horizon – 70% partnering with senior BI team on data modeling and reporting to make data accessible across Horizon; 30% liaising between the Horizon Analytics team and internal teams to educate non-technical stakeholders and drive adoption of data products. Build data models by integrating disparate sources for both technical and non-technical audiences; create and maintain automated data tests to ensure data quality across models; collaborate with Data Engineering to incorporate new data sources into the data warehouse; work with clients to define meaningful KPIs for media campaigns. Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake), Python for automating QA processes, and BI/dashboard tools (Tableau, Looker, Domo) are highly valued. An explicit emphasis on developing reusable, automatable processes and balancing business needs with data-process optimization is highlighted. The role is HYBRID, based in New York, NY with hybrid work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytics or business subject area
- 1-2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field
- At least 1 year using SQL in a work environment
