Job Summary
Develop and communicate growth strategies across co-manufacturing, private label, and branded portfolios while supporting sales managers through RFP and RFI cycles. Manage active customer business by conducting financial and performance analysis to identify profitability opportunities and recommend actions. Execute pricing strategies, track contract timelines, and prepare updated pricing to address inflation-driven changes. Analyze customer-level sales, margin drivers, and P&L leak points to partner with account teams on corrective actions. Prepare commercial reports including volume projections, forecasts, and performance updates while monitoring raw material, packaging, and operational cost inputs. Maintain organized commercial documents, trackers, and dashboards to ensure accurate billing and internal visibility. Partner with R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to manage project timelines, support new product launches, and develop QBR materials. Manage inbound lead intake and ensure accurate CRM updates. Approximately 10% travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups, modeling, and the ability to analyze complex datasets
- Strong analytical capability, including interpreting costing, contribution margin components, and customer or product performance data
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to create clear, concise, and commercially relevant reports or presentations for internal and customer use
- Experience using CRM systems (Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage pipeline, opportunities, and commercial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional customer-facing presence and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in business development, commercial operations, finance, supply chain, project coordination, or related work within the food/CPG industry
- Experience collaborating with Finance, Commercialization, Supply Chain, R&D, Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams
- Prior experience maintaining commercial dashboards, cost cards, trackers, forecasts, or customer performance datasets
- Comfort analyzing production, cost, yield, and margin data to support commercial recommendations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and support resolution with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with strong follow-through, accountability, and adaptability
