Job Summary

Conduct annual reconciliations of customer Discount Guarantees, validate data accuracy, and prepare quarterly performance reports to reflect customer financial outcomes. Address related inquiries and assist in resolving data discrepancies by analyzing root causes and preparing clear, audit-ready documentation for auditor requests. Support the use and maintenance of reconciliation models, MAC analysis tools, and data-warehouse sources while updating Discount Guarantees configurations during Open Enrollment activities. Submit customer refund requests in accordance with established guidelines and collaborate with Finance, Underwriting, Account Management, and operational teams to uphold the integrity of Discount Guarantee processes. Manage multiple recurring deliverables across annual, quarterly, and audit cycles with high attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 years of professional experience in analytics, finance, operations, or another quantitative, data‐driven environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Experience with Microsoft Access or similar data tools (e.g., queries/joins, basic SQL)
  • Understands (or can quickly learn) relational data‐warehouse structures and data flow
  • Ability to read and interpret basic contracts related to Discount Guarantees, pricing schedules, and client obligations
  • Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, including the ability to investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and produce clear, audit‐ready documentation
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables (e.g., annual, quarterly, and audit cycles) in a fast‐paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or Health Information Management) or equivalent work experience

Desired Qualifications

  • exposure to pharmacy claims data
  • Healthcare/PBM exposure — e.g., familiarity with benefit configuration, pricing constructs (AWP, MAC), channel differences, and pharmacy claims
  • Intermediate SQL for analysis (e.g., multi‐table joins, window functions, CTEs)
  • Experience building dashboards or reports with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Certifications preferred in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), SQL, Certified Pharmacy Benefits Specialist (CPBS), or relevant to position
