Job Summary

Prepare and review performance reports for defined contribution and defined benefit plans while supporting plan reviews, fee benchmarking studies, and provider RFPs. Maintain fiduciary documentation, perform detailed document reviews to identify client risks, and assist the CIO with data gathering for investment manager research and due diligence. Serve as a liaison for clients with custodians, recordkeepers, and third-party administrators, preparing rebalancing recommendations, direction letters, and meeting minutes for investment committees. This role offers exposure to meaningful, client-driven work within a collaborative team alongside experienced consultants and industry leaders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of investment-related experience (Defined Contribution plan experience preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and PowerPoint, with proficiency across the broader Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and quality-check data for accuracy in reports and deliverables

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IRS and DOL rules governing retirement plans
  • Familiarity with plan reviews, fee benchmarking studies, and provider RFP processes
  • Understanding of financial markets and investment consulting principles
  • Progress toward the CFA charter (e.g., completion of Level I)
