Job Summary
Conduct districtwide consultation and direct support in behavior management through Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plan development, implementation, and monitoring. Provide in-service training, coaching, and supervision to staff and Registered Behavior Technicians regarding Applied Behavioral Analysis principles. Coordinate behavioral services across schools and develop systems to prevent suspension and restraint. Deliver professional learning to ensure Positive Behavior Supports align with district priorities while maintaining training in deescalation strategies. Travel to various school sites and community organizations to address students' behavioral needs, with a requirement to complete Medicaid billing paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree
- master's degree preferred
- Degree or formal training in appropriate content area
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in the field of applied behavior analysis
- is a BCaBA who completed an ABA internship with HCPS
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate (BCBA-D)
- BCaBA who completed an ABA internship with HCPS
- BCaBA certification within 12 months of effective hire date
- Traveling to various school sites, work locations and/or community organizations throughout the district
- Timely completion of billing Medicaid paperwork
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a mental health clinician
- Experience in related management or supervisory role
