Job Summary
The Banking Analyst will support financial accounting processes for banking activities, including daily transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities include handling deposits, withdrawals, and transfers; performing bank reconciliations against the general ledger; preparing cash flow statements and other banking-related reports; ensuring regulatory and internal controls compliance; supporting internal and external audits; identifying process improvements in banking operations; assisting in bank account management and treasury-related cash forecasting and liquidity tasks; and contributing to ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks. Skills required include proficiency with accounting software and Excel, strong analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication with financial and non-financial stakeholders. This role is with NIQ and supports a Finance Operations function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years experience in banking or finance, particularly with hands-on experience in transaction processing and bank reconciliations
- Technical Proficiency in accounting software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Attention to Detail, High level of accuracy in handling financial transactions and data
- Analytical Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
