Job Summary
Equity research role focusing on North American Banks, covering 40+ stocks across US and Canada. Responsible for financial modeling, writing research reports, industry analysis, and client interactions, with opportunities to work with senior analysts across the research process. Requires 2-4 years in equity research or related finance, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to analyze financial data, track market activity, and develop industry themes. The role emphasizes collaboration, rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
- CFA preferred
- 2-4 years of experience focusing in equity research, buy side experience or investment banking experience
- Strong writing and modeling skills
- Must be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel, using AI tools
- Must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal
- Must enjoy following the stock market and doing desktop and field research
- Along with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politics
- Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Must work well in a collaborative team environment
