Job Summary
Conduct timely research, development, and robust pricing of new annuity solutions using MG-ALFA or other actuarial modeling software. Balance competitive and pricing objectives to achieve overall company goals while implementing best practices in automation and documentation. Collaborate with the Product Implementation and Pricing teams to set rates, manage state filings, and support new product launches. Communicate effectively with peers across product, risk, investments, marketing, legal, and operations to mitigate risks and ensure product approval. Maintain industry knowledge of economic, regulatory, and competitive environments to drive innovation. Report to the Vice President, Individual Markets in the Hartford, CT office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Actuarial Science
- At least 1 year of experience in the annuity/life insurance industry
- Successfully completed 2+ actuarial exams
- Must be able to travel occasionally to other offices (i.e. Des Moines, New York, Wayne (PA))

- Product development experience
- Prior experience with actuarial software
- Prior annuity product development experience
- Actuarial Mathematics exam(s)
