Job Summary
Design analog and digital hardware from system level down to board/component level, participating in all stages of new product development including design, manufacturing, testing, and fielding. Capture schematics and perform PCB layout using Fusion 360 or similar tools, while prototyping small-scale manufacturing for PCBs, electronics enclosures, and metal parts. Develop motion control systems involving motors, feedback encoders, and drives, leveraging basic radar knowledge and an advantage in RF board design, FPGA experience, and radar hardware expertise. Requires BSEE or similar degree.
Required Qualifications
- Analog and digital hardware design
- Embedded microprocessor design
- Schematic capture and printed circuit board (PCB) layout and design using Fusion 360 or similar
- Prototyping and small-scale manufacturing for PCBs, electronics enclosures, and metal parts (including soldering, 3D printing, etc.)
- Motion control systems design including motors, feedback encoders, and motor drives
- Basic radar knowledge
- BSEE or similar
Desired Qualifications
- RF board level design
- FPGA design experience
- Knowledge of radar hardware including transmitters, receivers, and antennas
