Job Summary
Analog Design Engineer (Experienced or Senior) at The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL. Translate electrical requirements into system and hardware architectures, develop and release schematics and PCB layouts, perform circuit analysis and simulation, and execute verification tests in the lab. Collaborate with manufacturing, reliability, and sustainment teams to ensure producibility and maintainability. Produce design documentation and participate in change control and compliance activities. Requires U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance after start; relocation is offered. Proficiency with tools such as PSpice, LTSpice, Simplis; familiarity with lab instruments; experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, PCB design (Altium/Mentor/etc.), and FPGA/microcontroller familiarity. Educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields; Level 3 or Level 4 experience corresponds to 3+ or 5+ years respectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related field or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of related experience for Level 3 or 5+ years for Level 4 in analog electronics and electronics design
- Proficiency with circuit analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting using tools such as PSpice, LTSpice, Simplis
- Experience producing engineering drawings, schematics, PCB layouts for fabrication and integration
- Ability to create and release design documentation, design reviews, and test reports
- Experience with lab verification using oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, power supplies
- Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance (post-start)
- Relocation eligibility
- Active Security Clearance (preferred)
- Familiarity with ALTIUM/Mentor Graphics/Siemens for PCB design
- Knowledge of FPGA and microcontrollers
- Schematic capture and PCB design experience
- Experience with MATLAB, PSpice, LTSpice, Simplis
