Job Summary
Review the OS in detail, develop sampling plans, and verify equipment and materials against operational requirements. Execute field monitoring procedures to ensure representative sample collection and quality control, then preserve, store, and ship samples with proper chain of custody. Perform technical calculations, document field reports including itineraries and deviations, and enter data into MyLims within established deadlines. Manage assigned budgets and deliver final service reports. Drive light vehicles when required by safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or hold or be able to obtain a valid working visa
- Valid driver's license (implied by ability to drive light vehicles)
- Ability to conduct scientific testing and data-driven analysis
- Knowledge of sampling procedures and quality controls for measurements and samples
- Ability to perform technical calculations and report data in validated formats
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver service reports
- Ability to preserve, refrigerate, store, pack, and ship samples with chain of custody
- Ability to verify and approve equipment, tools, materials, or PPE
- Ability to fill out checklists for equipment and materials
- Ability to enter data into MyLims within established deadlines
- Ability to follow client and ALS safety and environmental policies
- Ability to complete field monitoring and generate field reports including itineraries and deviations
- Ability to sign chain of custody matrices and other required system documents
