Job Summary
Conduct anaesthetic services across general medicine, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and mental health within a major regional hospital in Mackay, Queensland. Manage diverse casemix supported by active emergency, anaesthetic, and intensive care departments while collaborating with James Cook University for teaching and research. Maintain Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists or equivalent, ensuring compliance with AHPRA registration and vaccine preventable disease requirements. Join a permanent full-time or part-time team offering up to AUD $528,464 p.a. in total remuneration, including professional development leave and allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent
- Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA (substantially comparability ANZCA assessment outcome) or UK trained Anaesthetist with CCT (Expedited Pathway)
- Compliance with Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements
