Job Summary
Consultant anaesthetists sought to join the Anaesthetic Department at a major coastal hospital about 1 hour from Sydney. The facility supports 190+ beds, an ICU with HDU and coronary care beds, a busy theatres program, obstetric unit, pediatric care, and a strong orthopedic service. Responsibilities include anesthesia practice in a hospital setting across diverse case mixes with on-call duties rare (usually not exceeding once a week). The successful candidate will fulfill AHPRA registration requirements (FANZCA) with consideration given to International Medical Graduates assessed as Substantially Comparable. Required Qualifications
- AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- International Medical Graduates who are Specialist Anaesthetists and have been assessed as Substantially Comparable
- Demonstrated experience in anesthesia practice, preferably in a hospital setting
