Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing anaesthesia in accordance with NMBI standards and hospital policies. Assist the Anaesthetist in the preparation and administration of anaesthesia, including checking equipment, medications, and monitoring devices. Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition before, during, and after procedures while responding promptly to changes in patient condition. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the perioperative journey, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and adhere to infection prevention policies. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary theatre team, participate in handovers and safety briefings, and support junior staff and students. Required Qualifications
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or an equivalent regulatory body.

- Proven experience in anaesthetic nursing, with up-to-date knowledge of current practices (essential).
