Job Summary
Orthopedic surgeon locum tenens needed for ongoing 24-hour coverage in Wyoming. Role includes general orthopedics with fracture care focus, 5 days per month of coverage, 5 patients per day in clinic, 5-7 calls per week, and 4-5 surgeries per month. Post-op follow-ups and ER referrals comprise primary clinic volume; diabetic foot care experience is helpful. CompHealth will arrange housing and travel and provide comprehensive malpractice coverage and credentialing support; assignment details available via online portal.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or eligible in orthopedic surgery
- Active medical license in WY or ability to obtain
- Availability for 5 days per month ongoing schedule
- 24-hour orthopedic surgery coverage
- 5-7 calls per week
- 4-5 surgeries per month
- Proficiency in general orthopedics with fracture care
- Experience with post-op follow-ups and ER referrals
- Diabetic foot care experience helpful
