Job Summary
Locums Hematologist/Oncologist needed for an outpatient clinic setting across multiple sites in Charleston, SC. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm with 2–3 days per week preferred and option for up to 5 days. Typical caseload includes 18–26 patients per day with a 50/50 mix of hematology and oncology cases and about 5 new consults per week. Hospital privileges are required. CompHealth provides housing and travel arrangements and handles credentialing/privileging; online portal available for assignment details. The recruiter will coordinate every detail of the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in hematology/oncology
- MD or DO license to practice medicine
- hospital privileges (required)
- outpatient clinic experience
- locum tenens experience (preferred)
