Job Summary
Locums Hematologist/Oncologist needed for outpatient clinic assignments in the San Antonio, TX area. Responsibilities include caring for 18-26 patients per day across multiple sites with a 50/50 mix of hematology and oncology cases, and about 5 new consults per week. Schedule typically Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with 2–3 days per week preferred and option for up to 5 days. Hospital privileges required. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with hematology/oncology board certification or eligibility
- facility privileges
- outpatient clinic experience
- ability to handle 18-26 patients per day
- travel/housing arrangements acceptable to candidate
- locum tenens assignment experience (preferred)
- compliance with medical staff requirements
- state medical license or eligibility in Texas
