Job Summary
Locum tenens obstetrics and gynecology coverage in an Indiana hospital setting. The clinician will provide in-house call coverage with 24-hour or 12-hour shift options, handling approximately 2,000 deliveries annually across vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergent gynecology cases. Assignment includes coverage for provider leave, relocation support, and a package that includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel/housing. Typical schedule involves 5–7 monthly 24-hour shifts or 10–14 monthly 12-hour shifts. Access to an Weatherby Healthcare consultant and an online portal for assignment details and time entry. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Indiana
- Ability to cover 24-hour or 12-hour shifts
- Experience with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Participation in coverage for provider leave and relocation as needed
- Paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses
