Job Summary
Interventional Cardiologist locum tenens assignment in WY with 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, 5-10 patients per day, half-day clinic and half-day hospital consults and procedures. Procedures include left/right heart catheterizations, PPM/ICD/Loop Recorder implants including BiV, cardioversions, TEEs, Echo/EKG NucMed overreads. Paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Assignment managed via Weatherby Healthcare, charter member of NALTO; opportunity available through Weatherby’s nationwide locum tenens network.
Required Qualifications
- Medical license in good standing
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Interventional cardiology experience
- Ability to perform PPM/ICD/Loop Recorder implants
- Experience with left and right heart catheterization
- Ability to perform cardioversions and TEEs
- Echo/EKG NucMed overreads
- Willingness to travel for assignment
- Locum tenens experience preferred
