Emergency Medicine physician needed for locum tenens assignment in New York City, NY. Responsibilities include staffing an emergency department with day and night shifts (8- to 10-hour shifts), managing a high patient volume (average 110 patients in 24 hours), and delivering urgent care across multiple specialties. Must hold ABEM or ABEOM board certification and ACLS/BLS. Facility is stroke-certified; L&D on site. Competitive hourly pay ($225–$310/hour) with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Weatherby Healthcare provides dedicated consultant support and online time-entry.
