Job Summary
Conduct environmental sample preparation and analysis following quality systems and specific operational procedures while adhering to turnaround times and client privacy. Monitor laboratory Softline instruments and oversee product testing processes to ensure accuracy and scheduled delivery of results. Develop and validate test methods, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety documents as needed, while updating on new standards and customer demands. Provide technical support to marketing, sales, and clients regarding testing inquiries. Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables and equipment, compiling supply lists when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-year experience in testing softline lab as Physical, Colorfastness, Dimensional, Flammability, Fiber content, Footwear
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
- English Communication with B level or equivalent
- Familiar with ISO 17025 requirements
- Prepare and/or analyze all the environmental samples following quality system, using specific operational procedures, in the respect of TAT (time of analyses) and the privacy for customers
- Check and monitor of all instrument in SL lab
- Ensures the laboratory delivers results as scheduled and as agreed with the client
- Responsible for PT, internal and external correlation testing requirements
- Develops and validates test methods, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other operating, safety and quality documents as needed
- Update on new standards, new testing methods and new demands from customers
- Provides technical support to Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and clients regarding testing, reporting or technical inquiries
- Assists in keeping inventory of laboratory consumable and equipment necessary for the day to day functioning of the laboratory and in compiling list of supplies to be ordered when needed
