Job Summary
Amuse (Lobby Bar) Server at Swissôtel Chicago, a luxury hotel, delivering warm, welcoming customer service and expert knowledge of menu items. Responsibilities include completing daily operations (opening duties, stocking, cleaning), greeting guests, coordinating with the F&B team on preferences and occasions, upselling and suggestive selling to drive outlet revenue, maintaining accurate billing and cash handling, assisting guests with menu information, serving group functions per client specifications, and adhering to safety and sanitation policies. Must be able to work various shifts, handle high-pressure service in a fast-paced environment, and function as part of a collaborative team. Prior restaurant experience is preferred; strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences. State and Federal work requirements for Food & Beverage are to be provided.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year restaurant experience preferred; serving experience asset
- Must be able to work any shift assigned, such as holidays, weekends, mornings, and potentially afternoons and evenings if needed.
- Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage
