Job Summary
Lead the management and leadership of municipal affairs in accordance with the Salzburg Municipal Ordinance, while overseeing staff development and organizing internal and public events. Prepare funding applications, manage budget creation, and serve as the primary contact for citizens, authorities, and institutions. Advise political leadership on administrative and legal matters, driving organizational changes in close coordination with political direction. Requires a higher education degree, minimum two years of leadership experience, Austrian citizenship, and the ability to act as a constructive link between politics, society, and administration. Salary starts at €61,900 gross annually per the Salzburg Municipal Contract.
Required Qualifications
- Eine abgeschlossene höhere Schulausbildung (HAK, HTL, Matura) oder eine juristische und/oder kaufmännische Ausbildung (UNI, FH, FH-Public Management)
- Eine mindestens zweijährige Berufs- bzw. Führungserfahrung
- Die österreichische Staatsbürgerschaft
- bei männlichen Bewerbern den abgeleisteten Präsenz-bzw. Zivildienst
