Job Summary
The AMS Verification Engineer will be responsible for system level verification of IC products, including simulation of digital and mixed signal circuits, development of test bench environments, and implementing verification methodologies. The role requires knowledge in Verilog and spice simulators and entails creating functional coverage metrics, defining verification strategies, and collaborating with evaluation engineers to compare simulation results. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, combined with 3+ years of relevant experience, is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of BSEE
- MSEE and 3+ years experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of System Verilog, UVM and OOP
- Knowledge of Verilog and Spice simulators
- Knowledge of Analog circuits and CAD tools (Cadence Virtuoso)
- Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python, TCL, Perl, Bash
- Ability to problem solve at the circuit and system level
- Good presentation and writing/communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and across organizations
