AMS Test Specialist

Job Summary
Manage release processes for Avaloq software changes and coordinate monthly client releases, hot fixes, and End of Period test simulations. Ensure test environment availability for User Acceptance Testing, orchestrate bug fix installations with Development and Release Management, and track defects while distributing results to management and clients. Provide content scope for releases, liaise with Release Management, and perform compliance/audit key controls. Manage client acceptance environment usage plans and maintain client relationships through appropriate communication. Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes using tools for testing, tracking defects, and statistics. Requires at least three years of banking/finance experience, knowledge of MS Office and Jira, and ISTQB certification is a bonus. Hybrid and flexible working options are available.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in the banking and/or finance industry
- In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Jira
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving competences
- Structured and rigorous approach
- Team player and strong client-orientation
- Ability and flexibility to work in a highly challenging environment
Desired Qualifications
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent
- Experience with Avaloq banking system solution
